A 30-day challenge as a new writer to publish engaging articles on Medium between 250 to 300 words each.

I have been blogging in my area of business management, technology, coaching and leadership in Orthodontics for 4 months now. I am averaging 1 article every 2 weeks of different word lengths without much structure or design, and from reading posts on Medium, I have found the shorter content to be quite engaging.

My real struggle in writing articles is writing too much and being overly descriptive, and by doing this challenge, I am looking to focus my intention and remove unnecessary meanderings. A short, punchy, clear and authentic article in under 300 words daily would help me develop my craft of better writing and improve my time management producing valuable content.

I am not aiming to make any money in this first challenge. Indeed, I would appreciate any new followers and feedback on my writing for further development is certainly constructive if perhaps daunting on what truths may appear! I am also only publishing on Medium as a newbie writer with no following. My aim here is purely to develop my written voice and produce compelling content I can be proud of.

I aim to produce eventually within 30 minutes start to finish each completed article in draft form, ready to publish the following day. So, 30 days of writing 30 articles within 30-minute sessions in under 300 words begins now. With this pledge post being my first entry in the challenge, I am ready to take on any area for my article that comes to my mind, whether it’s business or personally related to my experiences. Nothing is off-limits. Let the creativity find its way to my digital page.
